Workington Reds’ commercial manager Les Smallwood has unveiled the new Simply Reds Lottery, a rebranding of the Supporters Club monthly draw.

The Reds have linked-up with CFM Radio for the draw and have adopted the CFM’s Cash For Kids as the clubs' charity for 2010.

Pictured above at the launch of the Simply Reds lottery are from the left: Les Smallwood, CFM DJ Gazza, Courage the cat, (CFM cash for kids mascot), Humphrey Dobie and Nathan Rowlands from Romar, (Reds club sponsors).

The club will be donating £1 for every new membership to the Simply Reds to CFM’s Cash for Kids appeal.

Les Smallwood said, “We have a number of new initiatives in the pipeline and will be introducing our fans to them over the next few weeks.”

“These are exciting times for the Reds, especially with the added interest created by the FA Trophy run.”

“The club has consolidated each year in the Conference and is now ready to move forward to a higher level of football.”

“We are actively seeking promotion to the next level and aim to provide top class spectator facilities.”

“This is a team effort off the field as much as on it. We have a team who have shown they are together as a unit on the pitch and now we want to work with our fans to produce the same kind of team effort off it.”

“Re-launching the monthly lottery under a new brand name will hopefully increase our revenue streams, and as our chosen name indicates, nothing could be simpler.”
