BOARD STATEMENT

Workington AFC can confirm that they have mutually agreed to part company with Manager Mark Fell and his Assistant Graham Lancashire.

It has been a difficult decision for all parties to make and certainly not one anybody envisaged taking at this stage of the season.

We’d like to place on record our thanks to Mark and Graham and their team for all their hard work during their time with the club and we wish them well in the future.

The clubs absolute number one priority is maintaining our Step 3 status.

Brian Dawson and Billy Redden will take training tonight and will oversee the final 3 games of the season as we bid to secure the points we need.

The club will start the process of appointing a new manager immediately.
