The Young Reds had to settle for a point in an entertaining JPL fixture played at Whitehaven.
They found themselves a goal behind when they momentarily switched off defensively and the Manchester side capitalised with a well taken goal.
And it took them until the final seconds of the first half to fashion an equaliser with Luke Bewsher-Canon connecting perfectly to Luke Routledge’s assist from the right.
Within two minutes of the restart, Reds had gone in front thanks to a fine individual effort from Jayden Fulton. His skill got him into a good position inside the area and a well struck finish left the ‘keeper helpless.
Reds needed that third goal to put the game to bed but AR proved a tough opponent and it was they who scored the fourth goal of the afternoon to secure a deserved point.
