Recap
Reds met Morecambe side Pause for the fourth time this season and a straightforward victory in the second league meeting took them to the top of the division.
Their only defeat in the league was against Pause back in November so this victory felt all the sweeter when they finished the day as league leaders.
Nearest rivals, A/R Elite, were not in action so have now played one game less than Reds but are two points behind.
They played some quick, attractive football in the first half but the chances created were wasted. And it took a cross from Callum Bell, which ended up in the net for their fortunate, but deserved, interval lead.

Reds remained in control during the second half but it took a while before they doubled their lead. Eventually, Alfie Schofield did net the all-important goal, dinking the ball over the ‘keeper after a sublime assist from Sam Christian.
They completed a good afternoon’s work when Liam White pounced on a defensive mistake and finished confidently to seal their seventh league win.
Team: Joe Rumney, Luke Routledge, Owen Johnston, Harrison Telford, Callum Bell, Sam Christian, Harley Edmondson, Joe Douglas, Joe Carney, Jayden Fulton, Liam White. Substitutes – Brad Keenan, Kelvin Amor, Alfie Schofield (all used).
